Importance of the perfect mentor. It is very important for a person to have a perfect mentor. Having a perfect mentor is very important for the success of the Hereafter. It is very important to have a perfect guide to reach Allah Ta'ala. Man cannot succeed without a perfect mentor.
To walk on the right path, to reach the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and to gain nearness to God, one needs a guide or a mentor.
The companionship of Sheikh Kamil is very important for a seeker or mureed.
Who saves his devotees from sins and makes them pure.
Take the person who is falling in the fire of Hell by the arm and enter Paradise.
Life in the world is very thorny. A perfect guide is needed to walk safely on the crooked and thorny paths of the world.
Who can show man the way to walk on the path of truth and make him successful in the Hereafter to be present in the presence of his Prophet and Allah Almighty.
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an
Translation
“O you who believe, adopt piety and rely on Allah, and those who the effort in the way of Allah, those are the successful ones”
[ parah 6/ surah Al-Maidah/ Ayat 35]
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that my companions are like the stars, whoever you follow, you will find the right path.
Hazrat Imam Ghazali (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates a hadith from the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) that the sheikh or mentor is like a leader to his nation like a prophet is to his nation, that is, he shows his nation the path of guidance and saves them from going astray.
The sheikh is the one who has taken every kind of terrible and destructive path so that he can inform his murids and his people about its benefits and harms and tell them that the Qur'an and the Sunnah and the consensus of the Ummah are the criteria for Sufism.
Whoever fulfills them will be successful, otherwise he will be called rejectedThe companionship of a successful and perfect Sheikh cannot be less than a good companion.
About which the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that a good companion is like Attar.
Even if he doesn't give perfume, his fragrance will definitely make him abhorrent. And a bad companion is like a blacksmith, even if the flames of the blacksmith's furnace do not burn the clothes, you will at least smell the smoke.
The murid should try hard to find the Shaykh Kamil and see if my Shaykh is capable of being a guide or leader. Many Taliban died following misguided people.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that you cannot know someone's Islam better until you find out the truth of his beliefs, so it is obligatory to obey all the prophets, especially the last Prophet Muhammad Mustafa(peace be upon him).
Importance of the perfect mentor
All agree on the character and attributes of the Messenger of God, Muhammad Mustafa, on the angels, On the resurrection and on the Oneness of God.
There is no difference in believing in them.
Orders and deeds may be revoked. Beliefs and beliefs cannot be abrogated.
The difference between the Mujtahids of the Ummah is in the branches, not in the principles.
Whoever disagrees with the principle is heretical and misguided. There can be no deliverance from this error without the Book, the Sunnah and the consensus of the Ummah.
Disagreement is mercy. The mujtahid who is wrong in these verses deserves one reward and the one who has the right opinion will get a double reward.
The follower of a perfect mentor should keep in mind that the spirit of his Sheikh is not confined to one place, but wherever the follower is, whether it is far or near, he cannot be away from the spirituality of the Sheikh, even if the Sheikh is very far away in person.
When this matter is fixed in the heart and mind and remembers the Shaykh all the time, a spiritual connection will be created. Then every turn, every time, every hour will have a strange advantage.
Importance of the perfect mentor.
Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddith Dehlavi, may God bless him and grant him peace, says that I asked the liar of hell, whose name is Malik, that you have any of my mureeds.
He replied, "By the glory of Allah, I have no follower of yours."
Sheikh Abdul Haq said, Look, this hand of mine is on the head of my martyrs like the sky on earth.
If my mureed is not good then what happened I am good. By the glory of God, I will not go to the divine court until all my disciples go to heaven.
If the veil of honor of one of my devotees is falling in the West and I am in the East, I will surely cover it.
And he says that whenever you ask Allah for something, ask it through my name so that the intention is fulfilled.
He said that whoever prays through my name in trouble, his trouble will bHe who calls upon my name in any difficulty shall find joy.
And if he presents his intention to his Lord through me, then his intention will surely be fulfilled. This is Kamil Sheikh
Hazrat Shah Waliullah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Hazrat Sheikh Shah Abdul Rahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Aurangzeb Alamgir removed Hidayatullah Baig from his post.
He came to me very sad, sad, depressed and broken hearted.
Weeping with humility and supplication,
When I focused on his matter, I realized that fate had been established in this regard.
Finally, I said to Allah, if this work is not done according to my wish, I will throw away this mystical dress.
Therefore, God's judgment was deferred and he was promised to be restored to his position.
I submitted that he should be promoted on this too, so Allah Ta'ala also promoted him.
When a person becomes annihilated in the Self of Allah and submits to the will of Allah, then Allah becomes his eyes, hands, ears, and tongue. Then the destinies change with the supplication of Allah's guardians.
Countless such incidents have been narrated from the saints, but now it is to be seen how one becomes a perfect mentor and what qualities he possesses, on which path he led his life and how he became a perfect mentor.
Importance of the perfect mentor.
Sheikh Kamil or Complete and Perfect Mentor
Among the qualities of a perfect mentor, the most important and first quality is that his spiritual relationship reaches the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through the knowledge of elders.
Be a complete scholar of the book of Allah and the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
Not only knowledge, but also attributes of excellence.
It is also important to possess excellent qualities.
And he should live in his footsteps according to the order of his peer and mentor.
Riazat and Mujahida
Speaking less, eating less, sleeping less, abundance of charity, fasting and prayer
Favorite morals and good manners such as patience, gratitude, trust, faith, generosity, contentment, trust, hope, clarity and sufficiency of the affairs of the hereafter, honesty, sincerity, modesty, dignity, peace and trust are present in it.
Avoiding places of greed and desire, shunning it, has become a habit.
Be enlightened by the teachings of Prophethood, all kinds of bad behavior such as arrogance, miserliness, envy, greed, malice, hypocrisy, rashness, anger and contempt for someone etc. in the light of this prophecy. You have finished.
Freed from every type of imprisonment and addiction and reached the limit of kindness.
Thanks to the pleasure and sweetness of Mujahidah and Riazat, the light shines on his face.
And the light of observation and his perfections are reflected on his face.
Because of the light of prophethood of the Prophet, may his chest be opened.
You avoid the world and worldly people even in solitude.
Have knowledge and distinction between halal and haram. He say with his tongue that I do not consider the god whom I do not see.
Hazrat Wail Yamanani (may Allah have mercy on him) asked Hazrat Ali Karamullah Rabiyyah that do you see your Lord?
Hazrat Ali said that I do not worship the Lord whom I do not see
Importance of the perfect mentor.
What is mujahedah?
Killing the self, not becoming a slave to the self, opposing its every wish, not fulfilling its wishes, accepting the work or obeying which the self is not pleased with, keeping a close eye on one's actions.
Hassan bin Sinan passed in front of a house and asked What is it made?
He immediately regretted and said to himself, O deceived self, you ask about useless things. Then he punished himself by fasting for one year.
Hazrat Khwaja Abu Yusuf Chishti, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to his soul, "O soul, if you help me at night, I will finish the entire Qur'an in two rak'ahs of prayer."
He continued to do the same every day and finished the Holy Qur'an in two rak'ahs.
Finally, one night, the soul did not cooperate and the Sheikh's two rak'at prayers were cut off or left. The sheikh could not recite two rak'ahs.
On the second day, in the prayers, Hazrat vowed that he would not give water to his stomach full for 20 years, because that night his soul had become lazy.
The reason for this was that he drink full water on his stomach. Due to which the health became burdensome and the worship of God was disturbed.
Mujahida, It is an extreme form of struggle. That is, to strive according to all the power that is in his power, to work hard, to endure everything in his life against his will, not only willingly ignoring it, but against his own will. The name of doing and adopting is Mujahidah.
Do not impose your will on others, but accept their will cheerfully.
The name of mujahidah is to negate oneself and adapt to the will of the target in order to achieve any goal of life.
Shaykhs strive to attain Allah's will and nearness.
They annihilate their objects and every desire for the pleasure and pleasure of Allah Ta'ala.
They destroy their desires in the will of Allah.
They annihilate their demand in the gift of Allah.
The classification of sheikhs is due to this austerity and mujahidah.
The more perfection is achieved in discipline and mujahidah, the more the sheikh will be perfect.
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an
Translation
"And as for those who strive in Our Way, We will certainly show them Our Ways, and indeed, Allah is with the righteous" [Al-Ankabut 21:69]
Hazrat Ibn Abbas and Radiyallahu Ta'ala Anhu say that the meaning of this verse is that those who strive in our way, We will give them a way and a reward.
Hazrat Junaid al-Baghdadi (may God bless him and grant him peace) says that those who try to repent, we will give them the path of sincerity
Hazrat Fazeel bin Ayyad said that those students who will try to get knowledge, we will give them the path of knowledge.
Hazrat Saad bin Abdullah said that those who will try to follow the Sunnah, we will give them the way to heaven. Therefore, for the purpose for which Mujahid will be fought, Allah Ta'ala will open the doors of His mercy for the fulfillment of that purpose.
Exercise
Eat less sleep less talk less observe prayer and fasting live your life according to the commandments of Allah worship Allah.To do according to His will.
The worship that is related to physical worship is to do according to the will of Allah Ta'ala.
Enduring the torture given by people, meditating on the divinity of God and the creation of the universe and the Holy Qur'an and the Holy Hadith is worship and austerity.
Blessed is the saying of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
Translation
"An hour's contemplation is better than a year's worship"
It is the honorable saying of the Holy Prophet that do not overeat in food and drink, which causes the heart to die. Just as crops die due to excess water.
Eating too much food reduces worship. Eating too much makes the human body heavy. Eyes get sleepy. Limbs become sluggish. If it is applied only in sleep, it is like a fallen corpse.
Hazrat Ali Karamullah wajho said that I and the self are like a shepherd of goats. If the goats of one side gather, the goats of the other side will scatter here and there. He who kills himself is wrapped in the shroud of mercy and will be buried in the land of honor And whoever kills his heart will be buried in the shroud of curse.

کامل مرشد کی اہمیت۔
انسان کے لیے کامل مرشد کا ہونا بہت ضروری ہے
اخرت کی کامیابی کے لیے کامل مرشد کا ہونا بہت ضروری ہے. اللہ تعالی تک پہنچنے کے لیے کامل مرشد کا ہونا بہت ضروری ہے. انسان کامل مرشد کے بغیر کامیاب نہیں ہو سکتا
سالک یا مرید کے لیے شیخ کامل کی صحبت بہت ضروری ہے. راہ حق پر چلنے کے لیے پیارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تک رسائی اور خدا کا قُرب حاصل کرنے کے لیے کسی رہبر، رہنما اور پیر یا مرشد کی ضرورت ہے. ایسے مرشد اور کامل مرشد کی ضرورت ہے جو اپنے مریض کی ڈوبتی کشتی کو کنارے لگا دے۔
جو اپنے مرید کو گناہوں سے بچا کر پاکیزہ کر دے۔
دوزخ کی اگ میں گرتے مریض کو بازو سے پکڑ کر جنت میں داخل کر دے۔
دنیا کی زندگی بڑی کانٹے دار ہے۔ دنیا کے ٹیڑے میڑے اور خاردار راستوں پر دامن بچا کر چلنے کے لیے ایک کامل مرشد کی ضرورت ہے۔
جو انسان کو حق کی راہ پر چلنے کا راستہ دکھائے اور آخرت میں اپنے نبی اور اللہ تعالی کی بارگاہ میں حاضر ہونے کے لیے کامیاب کر سکے.
قران پاک میں اللہ تعالی ارشاد فرماتے ہیں
ترجمہ
" اے ایمان والو تقوی اختیار کرو اور اللہ کی جانب وسیلہ اختیار کرو اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں کوشش کرتے ہیں وہی فلاح والے ہیں" [پارہ 6 / سورۃ المائدہ/ آیۃ 35]
نبی اکرم حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم کا ارشاد گرامی ہے کہ میرے صحابہ ستاروں کی مانند ہیں جس کی بھی پیروی کرو گے راہِ حق پا لو گے۔
حضرت امام غزالی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ احیا العلوم میں حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت نقل کرتے ہیں کہ شیخ یا مرشد، رہنما اپنی قوم میں ایسے ہے جیسے نبی اپنی امت میں یعنی وہ مرشد اپنی قوم کو ہدایت کی راہ دکھاتا ہے اور گمراہی سے بچاتا ہے۔
شیخ وہ ہے جو ہر قسم کی ڈراؤنی اور ہلاک کر دینے والی راہ طے کر چکا ہوتا ہے تاکہ اپنے مریدوں اور اپنی قوم کو اس کے نفع اور نقصان کی خبر دے سکے اور بتلائے کہ تصوف کے لیے قران اور سنت اور اجماع امت کسوٹی کی مانند ہے جو ان پر پورا اترے گا وہی کامیاب ہوگا ورنہ مردود کہلائے گا.
کامیاب اور کامل شیخ کی صحبت نیک ساتھی سے کم نہیں ہو سکتی جس کے متعلق نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ نیک ساتھی عطار کی مانند ہے اگر وہ عطر نہ بھی دے تو بھی اس کی خوشبو سے ضرور محضوظ ہوگا اور برا ساتھی لوہار کی مانند ہے اگر لوہار کی بھٹی کی آگ کے چنگارے کپڑے نہ بھی جلائیں تب بھی کم از کم دھوئیں کی بو تجھے ضرورآئے گی۔
مرید کو چاہیے کہ وہ شیخ کامل کی تلاش کرنے کے لیے بہت کوشش کرے اور دیکھے کہ میرا شیخ رہبر یا رہنما بننے کے قابل بھی ہے یا نہیں
بہت سے طالبین گمراہ لوگوں کی پیروی کر کے ہلاک ہو گئے۔
ارشادِ نبوی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہے کہ کسی کے اسلام کو تب تک بہتر نہ جانو جب تک اس کے عقائد کی صحت دریافت نہ کر لو لہذا تمام انبیاء کو ماننا خصوصاً نبی آخر الزماں حضرت محمد مصطفی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اطاعت فرض ہے۔
خداکے رسول محمد مصطفی کی ذات و صفات پر، فرشتوں پر قیامت پر، اور خدا کی وحدانیت پر سب متفق ہیں۔ ان پر ایمان لا نے میں ذرا بھی فرق نہیں ہے۔
احکام اور اعمال منسوخ ہو سکتے ہیں۔ اعقائد اور ایمانیات منسوخ نہیں ہو سکتے۔
امت کے مجتہدین کا اختلاف فروع میں ہے، اصول میں نہیں۔
جو اصول میں اختلاف کرتا ہے وہ بدعتی اور گمراہ ہے۔ اسی گمراہی سے نجات، کتاب و سنت اور اجماع امت کے بغیر نہیں ہو سکتی۔
فروعات میں اختلاف رحمت ہے۔ ان فروعات میں جو مجتہد خطا پر ہوگا وہ ایک ثواب کا مستحق ہے اور درست رائے والے کو دونا ثواب ملےگا۔
کامل مرشد کا مرید یہ خیال رکھے کہ اس کے شیخ کی روح ایک جگہ پر قید نہیں ہے بلکہ جس جگہ مرید ہوگا، دور ہو یا نزدیک وہ شیخ کی روحانیت سے دور نہیں ہو سکتا اگر شیخ ذاتی طور پر بے شک بہت دور ہی ہو۔
جب اس بات کو دل اور ذہن میں پختہ کر لے اور شیخ کو ہر وقت یاد رکھے تو روحانی تعلق پیدا ہو جائے گا۔ پھر ہر آن، ہر وقت، ہر گھڑی میں عجیب فائدہ حاصل ہوگا۔
حضرت شیخ عبدالحق محدث دہلوی رحمت اللہ علیہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے جہنم کےداروغہ جس کا نام مالک ہے، سے پوچھا کہ میرے مریدوں میں سے تمہارے پاس کوئی ہے۔
اس نے جواب دیا کہ اللہ تعالی کے جلال کی قسم میرے پاس آپ کا کوئی مرید نہیں ہے۔
شیخ عبدالحق نے کہا دیکھو، میرا یہ ہاتھ میرے پیروکاروں کے سر پر ایسا ہے جیسے زمین پر اسمان۔
اگر میرا مرید اچھا نہیں تو کیا ہوا میں تو اچھا ہوں۔ جلالِِ خداوندی کی قسم جب تک میرے تمام مرید جنت میں نہیں چلے جائیں گے میں بارگاہ الہی میں نہیں جاؤں گا۔
اگر مغرب میں میرے ایک مرید کی عزت کا پردہ گِر رہا ہو اور میں مشرق میں ہوں تو یقینا میں اس کی پردہ پوشی کروں گا۔
اور فرماتے ہیں کہ جب بھی اللہ سے کوئی چیز مانگو تو میرے وسیلہ سے مانگو کہ مراد پوری ہوگی۔ اور فرمایا کہ جو مصیبت میں میرے وسیلہ سے دعا مانگے، اس کی مصیبت دور ہوگی۔
جو کسی سختی میں میرے نام سے مجھے پکارے اسے خوشادگی حاصل ہوگی۔
اور میرے وسیلہ سے اپنے رب کے سامنے اپنی مراد پیش کرے تو اس کی مراد ضرور پوری ہوگی۔ یہ ہیں کامل شیخ.
حضرت شاہ ولی اللہ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت شیخ شاہ عبدالرحیم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے بتایا کہ اورنگزیب عالمگیر نے ہدایت اللہ بیگ کو اپنے منصب سے ہٹا دیا۔
وہ میرے پاس بہت رنجیدہ ، غمزدہ ، افسردہ اور شکستہ دل ہو کر آیا۔ عاجزی اور زاری کے ساتھ روتا رہا،
میں نے اس کے معاملہ پر توجہ کی تو مجھے معلوم ہوا کہ اس بارے میں تقدیر لازم ہو چکی ہے۔
آخر کار میں نے اللہ کی بارگاہ میں عرض کی اگر یہ کام میری مرضی کے مطابق نہ ہوا تو میں یہ صوفیانہ لباس اتار پھینکوں گا۔
لہذا قضائے الہی ٹل گئی اوراس کو اپنے منصب پر بحال کرنے کا وعدہ کیا گیا۔ میں نے عرض کی کہ اس پر بھی اس کو ترقی ملنی چاہیے لہذا اللہ تعالی نے اس کی ترقی بھی کی۔
جب کوئی انسان اللہ کی ذات میں فنا ہو جاتا ہے اللہ کی رضا کے تابع ہو جاتا ہے پھر اللہ تعالی اس کی آنکھ، ہاتھ کان، اور زبان بن جاتا ہے۔ پھر اللہ کے ولیوں کی دعا سے تقدیریں بدل جاتی ہیں۔
اس طرح کے بے شمار واقعات اولیاء کرام سے روایت کیے گئے ہیں لیکن اب دیکھنا یہ ہے کہ کامل مرشد کیسے بنتے ہیں اور وہ کن کن خوبیوں کے مالک ہوتے ہیں انہوں نے اپنی زندگی کس راہ پر چلائی اور کیسے کامل مرشد بنے.
شیخ کامل یا کامل مرشد کی صفات
کامل مرشد کی صفات میں سب سے اہم اور پہلی صفت یہ ہے کہ اس کا روحانی رشتہ بزرگوں کی معرفت سے سلسلہ وار حضور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تک پہنچتا ہو.
اللہ کی کتاب اور نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی حدیث کا مکمل عالم ہو۔
محض علم ہی نہیں بلکہ کمال درجہ کی صفات سےبھی متصِف ہو۔
کمال صفات کا مالک ہونا بھی ضروری ہے۔
اور وہ اپنے پیر و مرشد کے حکم کے مطابق اس کے نقشِ قدم پر زندگی بسر کرے۔
ریاضت اور مجاہدہ
کم بولنا، کم کھانا، کم سونا، کثرتِ صدقہ، صوم و صلوۃ کا مکمل عامل ہونا
پسندیدہ اخلاق اور حسن اداب جیسے، صبر، شکر، توکل، یقین، سخاوت، قناعت، امانت، حِلم، تواضح اور آخرت کے امورکی کفایت، صدق، اخلاص، حیا، وقار، سکون اور تمکین اس کے اندر موجود ہوں
لالچ اور تمنا کے مقامات سے بچنا، اس سے کنارہ کرنا، اس کی عادت بن چکا ہو۔
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نبوت کی تعلیمات سے منور ہو، تمام قسم کے بُرے اخلاق مثلا تکبر، بخل، حسد، حرس ارو لالچ، کینہ، ریاکاری، جلد بازی، غصہ اور کسی کو حقیر جاننا وغیرہ کو اس نبوت کی روشنی میں ختم کر چکا ہو۔
مجاہدہ اور ریاضت کی لذت اور حلاوت کی بدولت اس کے چہرے پر انوار چمکتے ہوں۔
اور اس کے چہرے پر مشاہدہ اور اس کے کمالات کے انوار جھلک رہے ہوں۔
نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نبوت کے نور کی وجہ سے اس کا سینہ کھل چکا ہو۔
دنیا اور دنیا دار لوگوں سے تنہائی میں بھی گریز کرتا ہو۔
حلال اور حرام کی تمیز اور علم رکھتا ہو۔
ہر ایک قسم کی قید اور علتوں سے آزاد ہو کر احسان کی حد تک پہنچ چکا ہو۔
اپنی زبان سے یہ کہتا ہو کہ جس معبود کو میں دیکھتا نہیں اس کو عبادت کے قابل نہیں مانتا.
حضرت وعیل یمنانی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے حضرت علی کرم اللہ وجہہ سے پوچھا کہ کیا اپ اپنے پروردگار کو دیکھتے ہیں؟
حضرت علی نے فرمایا کہ وہ رب جس کو میں دیکھتا نہیں اس کی عبادت نہیں کرتا
مجاہدہ کیا ہے؟
نفس کو مارنا، نفس کا غلام نہ بننا، اس کی ہر خواہش کی مخالفت کرنا، اس کی مراد پوری نہ کرنا، وہ کام یا وہ اطاعت اختیار کرنا جس سے نفس راضی نہ ہو، اپنے اعمال پر گہری نظر رکھنا۔
حسان بن سنان ایک گھرکے سامنے سے گزرے تو پوچھا کہ یہ کیا بنایا گیا ہے۔ فورا پشیمان ہو کر اپنے نفس سے کہا کہ
اے دھوکے بعض نفس، تو بے فائدہ چیز کے متعلق سوال کرتا ہے۔
پھر انہوں نے ایک سال تک روزے رکھنے کی نفس کو سزا دی۔
حضرت خواجہ ابو یوسف چشتی رحمت اللہ علیہ نے اپنے نفس سے کہا کہ اے نفس اگر اج رات تو میرا ساتھ دے تو میں دو رکعت نماز میں پورا قران شریف ختم کر لوں۔
ہر روز اسی طرح کرتے رہے اور دو رکعت میں قران پاک ختم کرتے رہے۔
آخر ایک رات نفس نے ساتھ نہ دیا اور شیخ کی دو رکعت نماز قضا ہو گئیں یا رہ گئیں۔ شیخ دو رکعت نہ پڑھ سکے۔
دوسرے روز مناجات میں حضرت نے عہد کیا کہ 20 سال تک نفس کو پیٹ بھر کر پانی نہ دوں گا کیوںکہ اس رات نفس نے کاہلی اور سستی کی تھی۔
اس کی وجہ یہی تھی کہ اس نے پیٹ بھر کر پانی پی لیا تھا۔
جس کی وجہ سے طبیعت بوجھل ہو گئی اور خدا کی عبادت میں خلل پیدا ہو گیا۔
مجاہدہ، جدوجہد کی انتہائی شکل ہے۔
یعنی پوری طاقت جو اس کے بس میں ہے، کے مطابق کوشش کرنا، محنت کرنا مشقت کرنا، اپنی زندگی میں اپنی مرضی کے خلاف ہر شے کو ہر خواہش کو خوشی دلی سے نہ صرف نظر انداز کرتے جانا بلکہ اپنے نفس کی مرضی کے خلاف برداشت کرنے اور اپنانے کا نام مجاہدہ ہے۔
اپنی مرضی کو دوسروں پر مسلط نہ کرنا بلکہ ان کی مرضی کو خوش دلی سے قبول کر لینا۔
زندگی کا کوئی بھی مقصد حاصل کرنے کے لیے اپنےآپ کی نفی کر کے مقصود کی مرضی میں ڈھل جانے کا نام مجاہدہ ہے۔
شیوخ ، اللہ تعالی کی مرضی اور قرب حاصل کرنے کے لیے مجاہدہ کرتے ہیں۔
اپنی شے اور ہر خواہش کو اللہ تعالی کی رضا اور خوشنودی کے لیے فنا کر دیتے ہیں۔
اپنی آرزو کو اللہ کی مرضی میں فنا کر دیتے ہیں۔
اپنی مانگ کو اللہ تعالی کی عطا میں فنا کر دیتے ہیں۔
شیوخ کی درجہ بندی اسی ریاضت اور مجاہدہ کی وجہ سے ہے۔
ریاضت و مجاہدہ میں جتنا کمال حاصل ہوگا اتنا ہی شیخ کامل ہوگا۔
قران پاک میں اللہ تعالی فرماتے ہیں
ترجمہ
اور جنہوں نے ہماری راہ میں کوشش کی ضرور ہم انہیں اپنے راستے دکھا دیں گے اور بے شک اللہ نیکوں کے ساتھ ہے.

حضرت ابن عباس اور رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ اس آیت کا مفہوم یہ ہے کہ جنہوں نے ہماری راہ میں کوشش کی ہم انہیں راستہ بھی دیں گے اور ثواب بھی دیں گے
حضرت جنید بغدادی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ فرماتے ہیں جو توبہ کرنے کی کوشش کریں گے ہم انہیں اخلاص کی راہ دیں گے
حضرت فضیل بن عیاض نے فرمایا کہ جو طالب علم، علم حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کریں گے ہم انہیں علم کی راہ دیں گے۔
حضرت سعد بن عبداللہ نے فرمایا کہ جو سنت کی پیروی کرنے میں کوشش کریں گے ہم انہیں جنت کی راہ دیں گے۔ غرض جس مقصد کے لیے مجاہدہ کیا جائے گا اللہ تعالی اسی مقصد کی تکمیل کے لیے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دیں گے۔
ریاضت
کم کھانا، کم سونا، کم بولنا، نماز روزہ کی پابندی کرنا، اپنی زندگی کو اللہ تعالی کے احکام کے مطابق گزارنا، اللہ کی عبادت اس کی رضا کے مطابق کرنا۔
جس عبادت کا تعلق جسمانی عبادت سے ہےوہ اللہ تعالی کی مرضی کے مطابق کرنا، ریاضت ہے۔
لوگوں کی طرف سے دی گئی اذیت کو برداشت کرنا، خدا کی خدائی اور کائنات کی مخلوق اور قران پاک اور حدیث پاک پر غور و فکر کرنا عبادت اور ریاضت ہے۔
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ارشاد مبارک ہے کہ
" تَفَکرُ وَ سَاعَۃ خَیرُمِن عِبَادَۃ سَنَۃ "
ترجمہ
" ایک گھڑی کا غور و فکر سا ل بھر کی عبادت سے بہتر ہے"
حضور کا ارشاد گرامی ہے کہ کھانے پینے کی کثرت نہ کرو جس سے دل مر جاتا ہے۔
جس طرح پانی کی کثرت کے باعث کھیتی مر جاتی ہے۔
زیادہ کھانا کھانے سےعبادت میں کمی آ جاتی ہے۔
زیادہ کھانے سے انسان کا بدن بوجھل ہو جاتا ہے۔
آنکھوں میں نیند آجاتی ہے۔ اعضاء سست ہو جاتے ہیں۔ اگر صرف نیند ہی میں لگا رہے تو وہ گِرے ہوئے مردار کی طرح ہے۔
حضرت علی کرم اللہ وجہہ نے فرمایا میں اور نفس ایسے ہیں جیسے بکریوں کا چرواہا۔ ایک طرف کی بکریاں جمع کرے تو دوسری طرف والی اِدھر اُدھر بکھر جائیں۔
جس نے اپنے نفس کو مار لیا وہ رحمت کے کفن میں بند ہو گیا اور عزت والی سرزمین میں دفن ہوگا
اور جس نے اپنے دل کو مار لیا وہ لعنت کے کفن میں دفن بند ہوگا.
